type='text'>PSSA- 3 (conclusion)

Now after the discussions about the PSSA , APMs and their relation with the UNCLOS, it is the time to answer the main question if it is necessary for the UNCLOS to make more developments and insert the rules of the PSSAs and APMs to its environmental protection tools.
As the PSSA are new concepts in the International Environmental Law, and have been legalized because of a definite need, it seems to be useful or even necessary to add such concepts to the UNCLOS, especially because these concepts are younger than the UNCLOS, as UNCLOS have been adopted in 1982, and these concepts have been firstly adopted in 2001 in the Resolution A.885(21) of the IMO.
As a general idea, and without any comment about the details of the development, I would suggest to add the concept of the PSSA and APMs to the UNCLOS in order to make more powerful guarantees for the environmental protection of the particularly Sensitive Sea Areas.
<img width='1' height='1' "
A papre presented by me was under the title of
"Regulations for Particularly Sensitive Sea Areas (PSSA) with associated protective measures",
which focuses on the PSSAs and APMs and its relation with the UNCLOS.
PSSAs have been legalized since 1991 by the Resolutions of the IMO (International Maritime Organization), firstly Resolution A.720(17), later in 1999 by Resolution A.885(21), in 2002 by Resolution A.927(22) and finally in 2005 by Resolution A.982(24).
in next posts, I will add the related documents as much as possible.

marine Env.canada

I find it a very useful website even in legal matters.
the idea just came to my mind, that it would be also a good research topic:
a comparative study of Iranian and Canadian environmental law
http://www.tc.gc.ca/marinesafety/oep/environment/ballastwater/defined.htm
